Arabic term
شرعنة
Arabic to English
Law/Patents
Law (general)
From its context this word seems to mean "legitimacy" or "legality." Can anyone explain the usage of the nun-ta'-marbuta suffix on a root to create a new word? Are there other examples? I'm pretty sure of the meaning, but I am curious about the formation, and how the word differs from the simple word شرعية.

the term is quite common as one can see by the number of hits on google (62100). ووزن فعلنة هو وزن حديث اشتقت منه مصطلحات أخرى مثل عقلنة ومكننة
أيضا كلمة "روشنة" تأتى على وزن فعلنه، وهذا مقبول الوزن حيث اعترف به اخيراً فى مجمع اللغة العربية على انه وزن قياسى الاشتقاق
