Italian to English Law/Patents Law (general) Article 234 reference
Contained in a reference to the ECJ:

Discussion

Sylvia Gilbertson Jun 4, 2010:
Well, this is just a long shot, but CTTD also is an acronym for Columbia TriStar TV Distribution - could it be their online networks or something like that which are involved?

Data Transmission Centre

copper to the door

My instincts tell me CTTD is an Italian abbreviation having something to do with closed-circuit television. But since I can't find any examples of that - I'm going to the English abbreviation 'copper to the door' works here. Copper to the door means internet services run over the same traditional wires used for telephones - as opposed to faster fibre-optic cables. i.e. CTTD implies slow results for internet use.
Example sentence:

"Most houses at least in Perth have copper to the door and fiber running from the exchange or from the RIM."

CTTD is not only your father’s copper connection, but it was also your great grandfather’s connection.
