English term

is in range

English to French Tech/Engineering Medical: Pharmaceuticals IVRS
The subject is in range for a visit that has already occurred.

Rachel Spanneut Mar 21, 2014:
It could mean that the subjects met condition do do a test/trial and consequently that test/trial was performed. They might test for eligibility and do the visit at the same location.
Jonathan MacKerron Mar 21, 2014:
Thanks for the explanation well that's a recipe for confusion if there ever was one - good luck.
PLR TRADUZIO (X) (asker) Mar 21, 2014:
IVRS is a voice system the physician/researcher participating to a clinical trial calls to enter data about patient, to request new drugs, to enter data collected during visits, to request new visit....all "actions" to be done according to the clinical trial protocol.
These sentences will be read to the caller. BTW, the same sentences are written when rather than usinf IVRS, the company uses the IWRS, the same system based on Web rather than phone call.

Basically the caller never speaks, but make choices: type 1...for..2 for...
Jonathan MacKerron Mar 21, 2014:
So these texts are transcriptions of voice messages left for the pharmaceutical company?
PLR TRADUZIO (X) (asker) Mar 21, 2014:
I don't know Jonathan, but IVRS are used by big Pharma companies and I would guess someone in the staff knows EN. The point is that EN is always dramatically poor in these cases, due to "direct style" voice system has with the caller: sometimes to much direct !
So, when context is missing, when you are given sentences to translate taken out from any context, not connected one with the others, it becomes difficult to understand what the author means.
Thanks for your help !
Jonathan MacKerron Mar 21, 2014:
@PLR Any idea if the author is a native speaker? If not, knowing his/her language might help us to guess what is meant here.
Jonathan MacKerron Mar 21, 2014:
Poor English Can only guess that it means the subject had a scheduled visit and did in fact come in for that visit.
Or, some medical finding/result fell within a range that required a visit.
Or is within a geographic range of the the study center.

remplit les conditions

In programming data are in rage when they meet a condition on value.
Maybe the full document can help validate.
The person might be familliar with computers? This would be poor English, surprising if it is a medical file. Is this a recorded converstion?
Note from asker:
As explained Rachel, this is an IVRS: the EN is poor as in all IVRS. Thanks for your help !

Note from asker:

Could it be?

Note from asker:
