When I trained as a journalist, the first thing we were taught was that every word should count. If you think it's a good translation, that's presumably because it uses so few words.

Because I think it's more elegant, and you can get too obsessed with concision. I just think some of the previous answers are unnecessarily wordy.

: I think "pionera" is what was in the ST, & should be reflected in the translation. I think English "forerunner" would be rendered in Spanish probably by "precursor", which is not what is in the ST.
