Is the original text already a translation? I thought it might be a typo for "to offload", but that's still a bad fit.

Makes no sense to me Surely there must be a typo or something. I imagine it's referring to reusing (food?) packaging just to wrap items that are going to be serviced i.e. thoroughly cleaned before going back into service. But the words "off land" don't fit into that theory, so a theory is all that the above can be.

What is the whole paragraph about?
What kind of instruments, for what kind of service?
As it is, the intended meaning is a mystery...

disagree Daryo : context? Still - the sentence structure (as now available) makes "to off land" a verb / can't see any way to fit "en mer" in this sentence !
