Re the question that was withdrawn. The highest award for a college football player is the Heisman Trophy. A college player who wants to suggest that he is a strong candidate for the trophy sometimes would strike a pose, like that of the trophy statuette:

This is not a standard expression. A ligthning can be a very strongly thrown ball (mocno podaną)or one thrown far down the field (daleko podaną do przodu) - a lightning pass- in football jargon, resulting in a substantial gain in yardage or even a touchdown (pole punktowe) or all three: złapać mocno podaną piłkę w polu punktowym.
