In the screenplay that takes place in an Argentine submarine i the 70s, I have been traslating "comando", the area of the vessel, as "control room". Here is seems to be a piece of equipment:
CHARACTER A:
¿No viste la cara que puso el capitán cuando vio el “comando” el otro día?
No entendía nada, no sabia ni como prenderlo…
