provo a proporti una traduzione diversa. Ho pensato che quando si vuole descrivere un paio di sneakers logore e vissute, le si definisce 'beat up sneakers'.

Mah... io userei proprio la forma più soft, suggerita dalla Treccani (i.e. ridurle in pessime condizioni): vabbé che parliamo di sneaker, però tutte le altre proposte mi sembrano troppo "pittoresche", oltre che troppo colloquiali :) |
