Testo teatrale americano. Dialogo tra un uomo e sua figlia. La figlia sta per sposarsi.

A: if you have any doubts, then I’m here to give you an out.
B: And how are you doing that?
A: Well, by telling you that you can call the wedding off right now if you like, and I’ll absorb the costs.
B: What?
A: You won’t have to give it a second thought.

La mia proposta:

A: se hai dei dubbi così, allora io sono qui per offrirti una scappatoia.
B: E in che modo?
A: Beh, dicendoti che puoi annullare il matrimonio giusto adesso, se vuoi e io coprirò le spese.
B: Che?
A: Non dovrai pensarci due volte.
