Italian term
Os F or OS f

Law (general)
Italian regional bureaucracy
I have come across this acronym ("Os F", also written "OS f") in some documents concerning universities in the region of Veneto. I have the impression it may mean "Obiettivo strategico di fondo", as it is usually followed by what looks like the goals of the action to be undertaken. Or perhaps "obiettivo specifico", perhaps. It's anyway a goal.
But if my interpretation was correct, I wouldn't understand why they usually write it "Os F" (sometimes "OS f") and not "OSF". Does anybody have any clues?

specific goal f)
It's explained in the first few lines of your first document: 'Priorità 1 - Obiettivo specifico f)'. The 'f' doesn't stand for anything - they just give each goal a letter rather than a number.

I wouldn't waste too much time trying to understand "why", and concentrate on understanding the acronym, finding a good translation and keeping that consistent in all instances.
