I am translating a Memorandum of Indeminfication. I cannot find a suitable translation for "AIPP", which is a scale used to rate permanent physical or psychological impairment. In the French it appears as "taux d'AIPP".
Should I translate it as such, or try to find the English words, and use those initials. I am afraid if I put it in English, no one will know what it is.

To this end, it might be useful to formulate a weighted estimate by analysing Italian and other national evaluation standards and by comparing international manuals and the current INAIL chart.
