Title of a magazine article about a new console. Subtitle: Firma xxx erweitert Pult-Serie um neues Standpult.
The company has added a new console to its "family" of consoles, very similar to other models in the range so that existing accessories from the "system" can be used. It is described as the "smaller brother" of the model introduced at a trade fair the previous year.
My attempts so far:
A new addition to the family - with a systematic approach.
Keeping it in the family? Adding to the family - systematically? Can anyone think of something
"snappy" to convey this idea of a new model with all the benefits of previous models and able to use the same accessories/fittings from the range?

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, 'mit System' in contemporary German is essentially the opposite of 'ad hoc', and it encompasses the concepts of planned, well thought out, consistent, coherent, (well) organised, and just about any antonym of 'chaotic' that you can think of.
