German definition of "Verbandschuh" in an official document (Hilfsmittelverzeichnis - medical appliances list)

Textile oder Schaumstoff-Fußbekleidungen, die ausreichend weit zu öffnen sind und ausreichendes Volumen zur Aufnahme des mit einem Wund-/ Polsterverband versehenen Fußes besitzen. Das Obermaterial erlaubt Anpassungsarbeiten durch z.B. Zuschneiden u.ä.. Klettverschlüsse ermöglichen eine notwendige Weitenregulierung und Befestigung.

Textile or foam foot covering, that can be adequately opened and is of sufficient volume to take the foot with wound/padded dressing. The uppers allow fitting to be carried out by cutting. Velcro fastening allows the necessary adjustment of width and fastening.

"Verbandschuh" is translated with "dressing shoe" - but I'm not satisfied with this translation. And I do not know if it works in english speaking countries. "post operation shoe" is also a possibility but it does not cover the entire term content of my customer.
My customer would like to sell his products in foreign countries like Spain, China, Britain...
It is a product catalogue - therapeutic shoes. The company offers two types of therapeutic shoes:
relief shoes/Entlastungsschuhe
?/Verbandschuhe
