German term

Servitut

German to English Bus/Financial Real Estate Water supply (Austrianism)
this is an Austrianism. It is from a project involving establishing a mineral water bottling plant taking advantage of an existing spring. After describing the various springs in Wildalpen and the use made of them, the text reads, "Aus der Liegenschaft der fam. Schröckenfux in 4575 Rossleithen besteht uber 100 Jahren ein Servitut der Wasserbelieferung durch die Quelle des Piessling Ursprung. Begründet wurde diese Servitut durch Gottlieb Schröckenflux.... Das Wasser wird seit vielen Jahren als trinkwasser der gemeinde und in der Villa Schröckenflux verwendet." I can't find a translation for the term "Servitut" (note that it is used twice and is not a typo), which is clearly an Austrianism, given its absence from the large German/English glossaries I have searched.

easement

Ref gives Servitut=Grunddienstbarkeit. Looked this up in LEO.

Leo gives other translations, I wouldn't know which one fits, but some of them are: (land) easement, (land) servitude(!).
Note from asker:
Actually, after sending my answer I tried Leo again and got "keinen Treffer". I'm puzzled by this, though I'm sure your answer is correct.

entitlement

I used to be a real estate agent. An easement refers to a right to use someone else's land. The term is usually used to designate a right-of-acess to your own property. I don't think a right to draw water from someone else's well qualifies. "Water entitlement" on the other hand is accurate and well-established.
