More context We have just three lines, it is either one of two very different things. To be sure you need to put more up, just copy and paste there is no limit on it. A balance sheet has assets on one side and liability and equity on the other side. Simplifying the liability and equity side are sources of funding. The assets side is what what you own after spending the funding to buy things like a factory or putting it in the bank as cash. The equity is the money the owners put into the business. The liabilities is what the company borrowed one way or another. Here this "capitale di terzi" would seem to be money the company borrowed from third parties. The "third party capital" is the Italian way of saying "debt capital".

I have hidden my answer I misinterpreted the context. Capitale di terzi can be what I initially posted, minority interests, but it can also be, according to Italian accounting teachings, that part of the capital that a company uses, which is not provided by the owners of the company, but which is borrowed. In this case the best translation would be "debt capital", as in the case of another entry, "liabilities"

Third party capital The context is "Il valore netto è calcolato dal totale del bilancio meno il capitale di terzi". If as I interpreted it this is a reference to an item on a balance sheet, then I've never seen it and neither have any of the people at KPMG and similar in Italy who revised my translations of balance sheets for years. Looking more carefully at the context, "Capitale di terzi a breve termine" then maybe it isn't on the balance sheet. In this case we are looking at debt capital. This would be readily understood by a financial reader, I don't know whether third party capital would work well. Potra. Can we have more context please?
