This is from an article on a collection of minerals. I can't figure what they mean by specie UK.

La ricerca preliminare sulla collezione ha comportato: la valutazione dello stato di conservazione di ogni singolo campione; la determinazione dei pezzi tramite riconoscimento macroscopico e, nel caso di 34 ***specie incerte o UK***, l’analisi mediante spettrometria Raman; la revisione della nomenclatura e la conseguente attribuzione della corretta specie mineralogica secondo le linee guida della Commision on New Minerals and Classification (CNMNC) della International Mineralogical Association (IMA); la revisione delle località di raccolta e dei giacimenti ed il successivo controllo sul sito XXX.

That's a BIG GUESS, but given the proximity to "incerte" and with the letters UK (UnKnown) this is the first thing that came to mind.
