При мониторинге кровотока в миоматозных узлах методом ЦДК у пациенток
после эмболотерапии в большинстве случаев (45) кровоток не был выявлен, лишь
в 2 случаях был выявлен единичный кровоток.

Possibly something like "insignificant" or "singular"? What if "singular", or it does not bear any sense here?

Hi colleagues, I recommend to leave a comment for sure. What if meaning different? It's better to have doctor explain meaning.

After reading the passage, a doctor relative of mine believes that nephrosclerosis points to "a reduced blood flow."
see:
The reduced blood flow response in advanced nephrosclerosis or parenchymal disease was associated with a reduced angiographic change during dilator infusion.

Hi Kimberly, I don't think my suggestion is a good option. It is something like "miserable supply". Don't know how describe it.

Possibly something like "insignificant"?

Thank you very much everyone for your help. This use of the word makes it very uncertain though. I am still in a quandary with this phrase. The more I think about it the more I believe that "единичный" may refer to "insufficient" in this instance. And if this is the case, I think that Evgeni's suggestion is the closest. Evgeni, would you please post an answer for a credit? Thank you.

I understand what you mean Evgeni. Bleeding would be кровотечение, not кровоток. I understand кровоток as blood flow (inside the vessels).

I guess, "deficit of blood supply" is a closer translation match even though it's a qualitative description whereas "единичный кровоток" or "единичные локусы" are quantitative descriptions.

Thank you for your help.
Evgeni Kushch Dec 15, 2017:
I think it could mean there is a deficit of blood supply to kidneys. As a native speaker, I can't see here hemmorhage/bleeding.

Thank you Vladys. But I am not sure I understand this. What does it mean?
Vladyslav Golovaty Dec 11, 2017:
single locus of blood flow E.g.: сейчас уже 4й месяц после физио. кровоток в аркуатных артериях PI 0.9 RI 0.6 (меньше нормы). в радиальных артериях — единичные локусы кровотока. в базальных кровоток не регистрируется. кровоток в правой маточной артерии PI 1.3 RI 0.8. кровоток в левой маточной артерии PI 1.3 RI ... https://www.babyblog.ru/community/post/conception/3052683
The term locus is often omitted, the blood in it is either present or absent, non?

Hi Frank. I see, like in malignant nephrosclerosis. Thank you very much!
Frank Szmulowicz, Ph. D. Dec 11, 2017:
Hi, Kimberly. Reading between the lines, it sounds like localized hemmorhage or bleeding. Mes meilleurs voeux.

Since localized hemorrhage is the most common bleeding source in liver disease, endoscopic and surgical therapeutic measures, respectively, are warranted.

Thank you, Vladys! One possible option in this row, however I am not sure about it as well.

localized hemmorhage/bleeding.

A few instances of единичный (in particular with reference to metastasis) in the literature contrast the localized nature of единичный to multi-site nature of the множественные.
