@Tim I think (think being the operative word) that they are hospitals used by more than one Mutua (mutual health insurance societies). I don't know if they also work as normal public hospitals, or if they are somehow private...
It's just a single word on a table. The next column is "referéncia" which I'm taking to mean referral hospitals.
