I'm about to translate a itd-file, where the text has lots of segments in italics. When typing you often don't see the last character and this can lead to typos.
I believe nothing can be done to remove the italics formatting?
Is it possible to avoid this when creating the document?
What's the use of this kind of WYSIWYG in a text-editor anyway?. Formatting should be done by tags.
Is this a new feature (SDL built 7035).
Regards
Heinrich

Try a different font

This can indeed be a nuisance in SDLX. It is my experience that it normally helps to choose a different font (select View > Set Source Font and View > Set Target Font, respectively). There are fonts that are more 'italics-friendly' than others. I personally like Verdana but there might be others that are even better for texts with italics.
