Adding a new font to SDL Trados Studio 2014

Hello,

I need to add to my computer settings a new font. Once installed, the font is perfectly visible in Microsoft Office (e.g. word), but if I try to open a document written with this font in Studio, I see a lot of corrupt characters.
Any idea on how I can make it visible in Studio?

Select the font in Studio Apr 9, 2015

Go to "File - Options - Editor - Font Adaptation" and select the font in the drop-down list for the language you use in your project.

the new font is not present in that drop down list. That's my problem.

Did you install it in Windows Apr 9, 2015

.. and does it show up in "Control Panel - Fonts" ?

Font is not available Aug 27, 2015

Font is not available on "File - Options - Editor - Font Adaptation" in SDL trados. But that particular font is available in the system. I'm using Windows 8.1.
How can I add fonts?
