Translation - English What is this innovation about? was our next question to del Campo.
This is about a diagram to perform the compression process directly at the well, eliminating the intermediate (gathering) station. This enables the reduction of diameters and, consequently, of infrastructure costs.
It is virtually possible to halve the field CAPEX and OPEX budgets, keeping the same configuration throughout the useful life. Further power can be added to the well head without modifying diameters, equipment, separators, etc.
We should stress that this cost reduction, which is sustained over time, is vital for the initial production period. We've verified so in several conventional fields, and we are sure that this new technology will contribute significantly to unconventional gas development.
But also, through this technology, production levels can grow aggressively. In fact, by adding well-head compression to certain wells, we reached productive gains between 50% and 300%.
This is definitely an unconventional way to operate new wells or existent wells connected to pipelines.

Source text - English - This annual revision for XYXY Group is based on Apr'08 (FYE) audited consolidated financial statements, and on Nov’08 balance sheet (7 months).
Apr’08 (FYE):
As an example of the analysis of the sector as a whole, XYXY Group presented a USD net sales 11% decrease (-24% in BRL) during 07/08 harvest, reaching the total amount of USD 193.2MM. This reflects the lowest prices for 07/08 harvest. As a consequence, EBIT suffered the impact from lower sales of the year and from the high depreciation derived from the investments during the harvest fixed assets.
Low price impacts on Group’s EBIT during this year were partially compensated by the USD 6.9MM gains in NDF revenues this year. EBITDA resulted in USD 63.1MM with a 32.7% margin (vs. 31.3% the previous year). Due to high financial expenditures during the year, the Group presented a net profit lower than the previous one, resulting in USD 5.6MM (vs. USD 17.8MM during the previous year – FYE).

I was born, raised and educated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where I currently
live.
My father is Spanish and my mother’s
grandparents were Italian and Sammarinese. I have always heard different
Iberian accents at home and, at a very early age, I discovered how interested I
was in my origins as well as in different cultures and languages.
I learned Italian at home with my mother,
while taking formal Portuguese and English lessons. As a grown-up, I decided to
attend formal courses of Italian and Catalan to improve my command of these
languages and to feel myself even more connected with my family.
Since 2011, I have been working as a freelance
translator and conference interpreter, and as a professor of Consecutive
Interpreting at Universidad del Salvador.
I currently work for the private and the
public sector, including Government Institutions and International
Organizations, such us Cabinet of Ministers, National Senate, the United
Nations and the European Parliament.
