It is essential that all scanned images (original as well as enhanced pictures) should be automatically stored and be readily available in chronological order, showing unique identifier and/or date and time of scan. Individual images should be easily retrievable for further review and reference purposes, as and when required. It is essential that any archive or backup images are stored in a media and format that allows individual or groups of images to be easily retrievable for further review and reference purposes. All images must be capable of being reproduced in an electronic format, such as CD ROM or DVD. It is essential that the original scanned images are default stored in a manner that prevents any adulteration or corruption of the original data. This requirement must enable the Client to retrieve original, un-enhanced images, so that they may be used as evidential proof in a Court of Law. They should also show the unique identifier and/or date and time of scan.

É essencial que todas as imagens de rastreio (originais bem como fotografias aperfeiçoadas) sejam automaticamente guardadas e estejam disponíveis rapidamente e em ordem cronológica, mostrando o identificador único e/ou data e hora do rastreio. Imagens individuais deverão ser recuperadas facilmente para outras revisões e como meio de referência, sempre que requeridas.
