Source text - English There are a variety of technologies and methodologies financial institutions can use to authenticate customers. These methods include the use of customer passwords, personal identification numbers (PINs), digital certificates using a public key infrastructure (PKI), physical devices such as smart cards, one-time passwords (OTPs), USB plug-ins or other types
of “tokens”, transaction profile scripts, biometric identification, and others. (The appendix to this guidance contains a more detailed discussion of authentication techniques.) The level of risk protection afforded by each of these techniques varies. The selection and use of
authentication technologies and methods should depend upon the results of the financial institution’s risk assessment process.

Doron - the Translator (Eng-Heb-Eng)
June 2008 - received an MA in Translation Studies from Bar-Ilan University in Israel.
July 2007 - accredited by ITI as Qualified Member after passing their Eng-Heb examination.
Medical, marketing, business and IT texts are my speciality. Trados is my middle name; Studio is my home...
I have a BSc in Information and Library Studies from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth.
I passed the two Bar-Ilan Univ. Accreditation Exams - Eng>Heb and Heb>Eng.
I have six years of experience in an IT company, as software developer and as Training Manager.
I'm pedantic (an ex-librarian), fast (an ex-training manager), enthusiastic (an ex-BBC researcher who loves knowledge), reliable (just my personality...) and good under pressure (a parent).
Yonat - the Editor (Eng-Heb)
2009-2014 – Freelance editor for several large translation agencies in Europe and USA on IT, marketing, tourism, appliances, automotive, management, surveys, legal, company policies etc.
2010-2012 – two-year Hebrew Language editing/Translation Editing Diploma Studies, Tel Aviv University
I also have a BA in International Relations from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem).
I have many years of experience in foreign trade, import-export and logistics, and hold an International Forwarder Diploma and an International Forwarder Certificate by FIATA.
I'm your quality stamp, aiming to create a Hebrew text which is rich and clear, focused and flowing, consistent and aesthetic. This is about the difference between a rough diamond and a polished one.
which would you prefer?
