Being from Luxemburg where I grew up and lived up to when I was 19, I know 4 foreign languages (German, French, English, Spanish) we had to learn at school, whereas German and French are considered as mother tongues in Luxemburg and as my father is Italian I also know that language quite well.
I also attended school in Belgium for one year, were I got the opportunity to learn Dutch.
In Austria, where I live since 1997, I also took Japanese and Arabic courses and studied translator at the University of Vienna.
2005 I started my own translating agency and have access to my own network of freelance translators for fast and professional translations.
2019 I became official external linguist for the Luxembourgish language reform.
SDL Trados 2009 Certification Since January 2023 I'm the only ISO 17100:2015 certified Luxembourgish linguist worldwide
I have access to over 8500 EN ISO and ÖNORM/DIN EN standards via an official database and thus can offer translations with correct titles of these standards and also use the correct terminology for a respective standard.
My German translations are fully DIN 5008:2020 compliant, and for Austria I follow the standard A 1080.

All our office systems are running on Linux Mint and we don’t use MS clouds, MS Office, etc. We are only using European alternatives to US Big Tech products in order to guarantee full GDPR conformity without risking US government breaches from US companies, who have to disclose data of any user of their services to US government, unaware of where they are based in the world.
