I am bilingual Italian/English (Italian mothertongue). I have studied and worked in Italy but I also spent many years (eight) in the UK, where I specialised in Translation,obtaining the "Diploma in Translation" of the Institute of Linguists cum laude in the Scientific Paper. In the UK, I have worked as a freelance translator for several agencies, such as HLL (literary translations) and ALPNET INTERLINGUA (medical, commercial translations). I have returned to live in Italy since 1996, and since then, I have worked mainly for "Hobby&Work" Publishing Group, translating books of the "Time-Life" series, such as "The Enchanted World" about mythology and folklore, that have been published in the Italian version.



In the course of the fifteen years I had been working as a translator, I have reached a fair level of knowledge and familiarity with medical, commercial and legal terminology, so I believe I can work with texts of that character without much difficulty.
