I
am a Senior Translator and Transcreator with 13 years of experience in
the Translation, Transcreation and Localization sector (German &
French into English). I also offer bilingual editing and monolingual
proofreading services, plus cultural adaptation from American to British
English.

🔹 What professional qualifications do I hold?

I
am a certified member of the U.K. translators' association, the ITI,
and I uphold its professional Code of Conduct. I hold a postgraduate
Masters degree in Applied Translation and an undergraduate Masters
degree in languages. Lastly, I am also one of the few translators
qualified to ISO 17100:2015.

Glad you asked!

Apart
from my job - which, by the way, I absolutely love - I'm a huge fan of
muddy, hilly, sweat-inducing trail running. Being lucky enough to live
in spectacular Yorkshire, I take the opportunity to go running over the
moors and fields several times a week, either alone or with my club.

When
I get time, I like to help out with a local gardening charity that
keeps our town looking beautiful by planting flowers and weeding
municipal spaces.

I'm also a keen reader and enjoy few things
more than relaxing in a hammock in the garden with a good book and a
glass of something chilled - before I get found, that is.
