My wife and I have translated within a variety of subject areas. Most of our work has involved legal documents, such as police interrogations, court hearings and trials, depositions, birth & death certificates; and community & social service newsletters and periodicals. We have also translated for the medical profession: hospital reports, preventative medicine, HMO plans.

We translate from English to Spanish or from Spanish to English.

Together we have academic/work experience or expertise in the areas of art, health, geography, psychology, public schools, management, government/social services, physical education and sports in particular, basketball, which I played professionally in Mendoza, Argentina.

We normally earn and expect from .08 to .12, depending on the difficulty or length of the job, but we are always open to negotiate.

We have consistently met deadlines translating 500-1000 word documents within one or two days, or by translating 10,000 to 15,000 word jobs (and as many as 37,000 words) within ten days to two weeks.

My wife and I complement one another by consulting each other for clarification of a word or phrase, proofreading each other's work.
