I have over 20 years of experience working as an English-Spanish translator. My first gig was at Reflejos Publications LLC, a company owned by the Daily Herald, the third most influential newspaper in the Chicago area. I have also worked on a variety of other projects, including advertisement translations for Momento Inc., a Yellow Pages publisher, Milagro Marketing, a Hispanic marketing firm located in San Jose, California, South Bay Children's Medical Clinic, an after-hours pediatric clinic in Los Gatos, California, ACORN Housing, a non-profit organization, MST Latino, a Hispanic Marketing firm in Illinois, and Women For World Health.

My valuable localization experience has been honed through extensive work on video games and apps. I served as a full-time Spanish localization specialist at Aeria Games, an MMORPG video game company in Santa Clara, California. I have also had the opportunity to collaborate as a remote localization specialist for 6waves in Hong Kong, Keywords International in Italy, and BridgeWay Translations in Los Angeles, California, on large video game localization projects that included working with international teams and project management. For the past ten years, I have been part of the fantastic team of translators at Babble-On, a translation agency in San Francisco, California, as a Spanish (general, LATAM, and Mexican variant) localization specialist translating software, apps, and video games, as well as general projects (personal documents and marketing material). Lastly, I have had the pleasure to work with Paid Leave for All and California Work and Family Coalition in a social justice effort to push legislature to protect worker's rights by interpreting on Zoom meetings and translating a variety of materials to U.S. Spanish.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
