I believe language is the most important human asset and tool towards connection. I am privileged to dedicate my life to building bridges between cultures and individuals who need to work together.
Connecting people in a variety of environments and circumstances in the community both as an interpreter and a translator has been a rewarding experience for the past 7 years.
I work in Portuguese and English as a medical interpreter for major health facilities in the greater Boston area and as a community interpreter at a variety of settings, from government departments to the public school system. I also work as a translator, specializing in business, pharma, hospitality, travel, education, film, media, environmental and life sciences.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English, Linguistics and Literature from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, one of the most reputable educational institutions in Brazil, and have been successfully trained as a medical, community and legal interpreter and translator by Boston University and University of Massachusetts.
I am an active member of the American Translators Association and New England Translators Association.
I currently live and work in San Diego, California.
