La horchata es una bebida refrescante de color marfil y sabor muy agradable.
Se obtiene de la trituración de la chufa añadiendo agua y azúcar.
La chufa es un pequeño tubérculo muy sabroso que se cultiva en el Levante español.
La horchata es una bebida típica española, que se consume en terrazas, heladerías y cafeterías de ciudades y playas durante los meses
de primavera, verano y otoño.
Solera ha conseguido obtener una Horchata Condensada, envasada en briks
individuales de 1 litro, que añadiendo 4 litros de agua se obtienen 5 litros de exquisita horchata.
Estos briks no necesitan conservarse en frío y tienen una caducidad de 24 meses, de esta manera podemos fabricar horchata a la medida de nuestras necesidades y durante todo el año.
La Horchata, una vez fabricada, es necesario conservarla entre 2 y 5 ºC, al mismo tiempo precisa de una suave agitación para mantener su cuerpo y sabor típicos.
Solera dispone de la maquinaria (ver imagen) necesaria para la conservación, exposición y venta de la horchata en hostelería.
Translation - English La Horchata
Horchata is a refreshing, creamy coloured drink with a pleasant flavour.
It is obtained from crushing the Tiger Root nut and adding water and sugar.
The Tiger Root is a small, tasty, tuber that is grown on the Spanish East Coast.
Horchata is a typical Spanish drink that is enjoyed on terraces, in ice cream shops, in city cafés and on beaches during the Spring, Summer and Autumn months.
Solera, has succeeded in producing a Condensed Horchata , packaged in individual one litre containers, and by simply adding 4 litres of water you can make 5 litres of delicious Horchata.
These containers do not require refrigeration and they have a shelf-life of 24 months; thus we can produce Horchata as and when we need it throughout the whole year.
Once Horchata has been mixed, it must be kept between 2 and 5 °C; it also needs to be shaken lightly in order to maintain its characteristic body and flavour.
Solera has all the necessary equipment (see image) for the conservation, marketing and sale of Horchata in the catering trade.

(344/97) Les constructeurs européens ne parviennent pas à se mettre d’accord sur les normes de réduction des émissions de CO2 par les voitures et ne semblent pas non plus vouloir se conformer aux objectifs de la Commission consistant à réduire d’ici 2005 à 120g/KM en moyenne les émissions de CO2 de toutes les nouvelles voitures vendues dans l’UE. Face à l’indécision et au manque de coopération des constructeurs automobiles, Mme Ritt Bjerregaard, Commissaire à l’environnement et à la sécurité nucléaire, menace de créer une législation communautaire contraignante pour l’industrie automobile en ce qui concerne la réduction des émissions de CO2.
ENVIRONNEMENT: SANCTIONS A L’ENCONTRE DE 13 ETATS MEMBRES
(346/97) La Commission a décidé d’entamer des actions légales contre plusieurs Etats membres pour non-respect de la législation européenne. 13 Etats membres (la Grèce, les Pays-Bas, le Royaume-Uni, la Suède, la Finlande, l’Italie, l’Irlande, l’Espagne, le Luxembourg, la Finlande, l’Allemagne, la Belgique et le Danemark) n’ont pas adopté ou pas communiqué à la Commission leurs plans nationaux de gestion des déchets en général, ainsi que des déchets dangereux et des déchets d’emballage; par conséquent, ces pays auront une procédure d’infraction engagée à leur encontre par la Commission. ENVIRONNEMENT: CHANGEMENTS CLIMATIQUES ET POLITIQUE DE L’EAU
(350/97) Le Conseil Environnement s’est réuni sous la présidence du Ministre luxembourgeois M. Lahure, avec la participation du Commissaire européen Ritt Bjerregaard pour délibérer sur la stratégie communautaire en matière de changement climatique et sur la proposition de directive “eau potable”. Concernant les changements climatiques, les Ministres sont arrivés à un accord sur la position que l’Union Européenne défendra à Kyoto à propos, notamment, de la réduction des émissions de gaz à effet de serre. Quant à la directive proposée par la Commission relative au problème de la qualité des eaux destinées à la consommation humaine, le Conseil est aussi parvenu à une position commune. Faced with the indecision and the lack of co-operation from the car manufacturers, Mrs Ritt Bjerregaard, the Commissioner for Environment and Nuclear Safety, is threatening to create binding community legislation for the car industry with regard to the reduction of CO2 emissions.
ENVIRONMENT: SANCTIONS AGAINST 13 MEMBER STATES
(346/97) The Commission has decided to take legal action against several member states for non-compliance with European legislation. 13 member states (Greece, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Luxembourg, Finland, Germany, Belgium and Denmark ) have not adopted, or communicated to the Commission, their national plans for the management of general waste, along with hazardous and packaging waste; as a consequence, these countries will have an infringement procedure initiated against them by the Commission. Reasoned opinions will also be sent to 10 member states (France, Finland, Italy, Denmark, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Spain) by the Commission for non-communication of the full list of natural habitats for preservation.
ENVIRONMENT: CLIMATE CHANGE AND WATER POLICY
(350/97) The Environment Council assembled under the chairmanship of the Luxembourg Minister M. Lahure, with the participation of European Commissioner Ritt Bjerregaard in order to discuss the Community strategy concerning climate change and the proposed directive on “drinking water”. Regarding climate change, the Ministers reached an agreement on the position that the European Union will defend in Kyoto with regard, in particular, to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. As for the directive proposed by the Commission on the problem of the quality of water intended for human consumption, the Council also reached a common position. This directive deals with the threshold limit for lead concentration in water, the threshold limit for nitrites, the risks of barriers to the circulation of bottled water and the single value applicable to all pesticides.

Cocaine: Dealers often increase the volume of this fine white powder by mixing it with lime powder, talc, etc. They also increase its strength with amphetamines, strychnine, quinine, acid base, detergents, formaldehyde, etc.
It is hardly ever found in its pure state (that is without additives which do not match with its original chemical formula) this state of purity fluctuates between 5% and 50%.
When the treatment of cocaine with ether is replaced by ammonia or sodium bicarbonate and then the drug is processed to remove the hydrochloride and smoked, it is called "crack". The name (which is commonly assumed to be another drug) comes from the sound that this variant of cocaine makes when it is heated or smoked.
The consumption of cocaine includes many varied forms of administration, perhaps it is the only drug that includes all forms: sniffing or inhalation, injection and smoking (including cocaine crystals and crack), etc. Inhalation is through the nose, where it is absorbed into the blood stream through the nasal tissues.
Smoking includes the inhalation of the cocaine vapour or smoke into the lungs, where absorption into the blood stream is almost as fast as by injection. Injection is the act of using a needle in order to infuse directly into the bloodstream. The latter method is employed when addiction to cocaine is very advanced, generally irreversible, or recovery difficult. The effect achieved is called "a flash", because it is described as an intense hit and limitless sensations. Other people can easily perceive when someone is "flashed", although it can be very difficult to imagine what that person is feeling.
