I have 20+ years of translation/interpretation experience, and in the past have worked in the advertising/media industry for about 13 years. I mainly specialize in marketing, advertising, PR, marketing research, general business, annual reports (including finance, law, charters, contracts etc.), user manuals, catalogs/brochures, websites, etc. However, my translation experience is not limited to these fields as I work with many clients in various industries for several types of projects. I believe a good translator must firstly be a good researcher, and enthusiastic about any field.
