I am a freelance translator, editor, educator, writer, sometimes ghostwriter, and communication professional. My background is in academia, which included English language and literature, history, rhetoric and public speaking, and classics and comparative literature. I've also worked as a musician for many years and have a great interest in music and culture. I work for a variety of clients, some on project-to-project basis, some long-term, and my main expertise is in translating literature, journalism, criticism, tourism material, and academic articles. Recently, I've done work in business and legal translation as well. Besides English and Danish, my preferred language pair, I read comfortably in the other Scandinavian languages, German and French, and am learning Italian.
