I grew up in the Netherlands, but moved to the UK in 1989 to marry an Englishman. I worked in the UK as a Personal Assistant at executive level for 8 years, where I gained a wealth of experience in hospitality, business, marketing, human resources, the arts and finance. At the same time, I studied Personnel Management at South Bank University in London and obtained my Postgraduate Diploma in 1998.
I had my two girls in 1997 and 1999 and started working as a freelance translator. I obtained my diploma in translation from the Institute of Linguists Educational Trust in 2000 (subjects: general, science, technology).
Translations include: yearbooks, loss adjusters' reports, newsletters, HR documents, staff handbooks, qualifications, business proposals, dance reviews, medical reports, television production manuals, exhibition brochures, accommodation information, job descriptions, personal profiles, police reports, exercise manuals, health & safety policies, ICT training manuals, stories, recipes, etc.
I'm very accurate and committed to deliver quality services. |
