Hi,

A little about me:
I am working for over 8 years with translation and interpretation, first part-time, now fulltime
My main translations are technical (manuals and documents) and software localization (mainly games and websites).
Although I studied Law (commercial area) in Brazil, I always had a knack for languages.
After University, I wanted to work with other things than Law, and thus I did a Specialty course in IT (web admin and system admin, in the Netherlands) and while I was working in a "normal" job, I already had my other parttime job: translating sites and documents for friends and relatives.

After some few years, I decided to change my work completely: spend more time with family, less time behind a desk working for a computer (For a computer, not With... IT gave me that feeling).

Some very interesting projects came up, while translating: working on a large Bio-Fuel project for a plant in Brazil was one of them, which taught me some very nice things, among which are basics on transport and logistics (both national and international) and engineering (construction/machinery/fuel).

Meanwhile I continued to do translations and software localizations. One of my best clients: Oniria Software, Brazil
