Bio
I learned my languages mainly through travel. As a young girl I lived and went to school in Germany and I am a fluent German speaker to native standards. I later studied German and Spanish at university and travelled into Mexico to perfect my Spanish. During my master's degree I also taught German and then went on to teach English once I'd moved back to Germany.
After teaching English as a Second language for many years I moved back to the USA and studied for my teaching qualification at secondary school, which is when I started translating. Over the years I have informally worked as a translator while teaching.
I have recently done a proofreading course and started translating; working on some online translations http://www.exetercaledoniansociety.co.uk/history_german.htm.
I have also started to work in the sales sector with German and Spanish customers.
