I worked in a major shipping company for 6 years in Tokyo, using English & Japanese daily.

Moving to Berlin in 2009, I had a chance to experience a 6-months-internship at a independent rock/punk/electro music label. Being a keen rock/punk music lister myself, I enjoyed translating the catalogues, musician biography and event info from English into Japanese, writing original PR texts, general promotion work, as well as market research both in English and Japanese.

I have 2 years of experience as a customer service in tourism industry, and I have credential as a certified General Travel Service Supervisor (the national examination in Japan).

Since I have worked with various app developers as their translator, I am familiar with iPhone/iPad application manual and promotion texts. Also I have done a number of market research and promotion work for those application in Japanese.

I have worked for a major SNS company as an official Japanese editorial staff until the end of 2019 for over 7 years. There I was also in charge of writing interviews articles and all other editorial texts.

I have been working for a high-end watch selling/buying platform and translating their magazine text about mechanical watch world.

I'm very interested in eco tourism, wildlife, nature conservation, ecology, environmental issues, fasting, and food. For these sectors, I would be happy to work for less remuneration or as a volunteer. Please feel free to contact me if you have any inquiry regarding this.
