I am a native Portuguese speaker who is BSc and MSc in Veterinary Medicine (Brazil) and MSc in Veterinary Epidemiology (Royal Veterinary College, University of London) - unfinished. Medical terminology is perfectly familiar and natural to me.

I have been working as a freelance translator (English - Portuguese, Spanish - Portuguese) and proofreader for over 6 years. I have also produced a large number of translation and proofreading jobs.
