Japanese to English: Sample Japanese to English translation
Source text - Japanese ベンチャーとは、危険な冒険、危険な試み、冒険(投機的)事業、更には、投機、思惑、やま(賭金や商品など)の投機性の物などを意味すると辞書にある。又、ベンチャーは事業に用いられるが、アドベンチャーは、危険に関わらない刺激的な冒険を意味する。これをことわざで言うならば、『虎穴に入らずんば、虎子を得ず』となる。
Translation - English A venture refers to a dangerous adventure, a dangerous attempt, or a hazardous (speculative) business; furthermore, the dictionary associates the concept of "venture" with speculation, intention, and speculative objects (such as gambling stakes and products). While “venture” is an expression used in the business field, the connotation of danger is removed from the word “adventure,” which refers to an exciting quest. As the Japanese proverb goes, “if you do not enter the tiger’s cave, you will not catch its cub;” that is to say, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
