Born in Ex-Yugoslavia, I grew up in French and English-speaking countries and currently reside in France. English is my best (native) language and it is therefore always also my target language when translating.
I have linguistic and translation qualifications from the University of Cambridge where I graduated with an MA and BA in Modern Languages (French and Italian translation). I went on to complete a Professional Masters degree in European Affairs at Sciences Po, Paris.
As an interpreter, I started by working for a number of organisations in the US in the field of immigration (NIJC, Heartland Alliance, Kovler Center), as well as in medical settings. Today, I work as a conference and liaison interpreter in the north of France, in corporate and academic settings.
I have proofreading and translating experience in a large range of areas including academia, European politics, corporate communication and environmental policy. I also enjoy translating poetry and subtitling documentaries.
