Source text - English If either party is rendered unable, wholly or in part, by reason of Force Majeure to carry out any of its obligations hereunder, other than the obligation to pay money, then on such party giving notice and particulars in writing to the other party within a reasonable time after the occurrence of the cause relied upon, such obligations shall be suspended. "Force Majeure" shall include acts of God, laws and regulations, strikes, lightning. fire, flood, washout, storm, and any other causes that are not reasonably within the control of the party so affected. If the period of Force Majeure continues for more than thirty (30) days then either party may terminate this Contract by giving five (5) days written notice to the other party.

Source text - English Economic upturn in US fails to revive job market
The US economy continues to shed jobs even as its recovery has gathered strength, according to figures released yesterday.
The US jobs decline surprised both independent economists and officials from the Bush administration, who had expected a small rise. Long-term interest rates and the dollar both fell after the figures were released.
The data underline how the US recovery is marked by a productivity-driven rise in output that is inducing little response from a becalmed labour market.
The administration's critics said the data were evidence of the failure of the White House's economic strategy, which has centred on tax cuts intended to increase investment and consumption and boost the stock market.
The fall in employment was spread across many sectors of the economy. The now-familiar falls in manufacturing, which has lost nearly 16 per cent of its jobs since mid-2000, were joined by an unexpected 67,000 slide in service-sector jobs.
