Daniel Tamayo is an English/Spanish Translation and Interpreting professional with experience in teaching T&I. He currently works as a freelance conference interpreter and also has extensive experience as a med-legal interpreter. Additionally, he serves as an English-Spanish translator, a translation project manager, and as a Spanish editor/proofreader.

Mr. Tamayo has completed a Master's Degree in Translation and interpreting studies from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, a Master's Degree in Hispanic Language and Civilization from UC Santa Barbara, graduate courses in Economics, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Management.

As an educator and trainer, he has experience in developing curricula and assessment tools for Legal and Medical T&I programs. Mr. Tamayo has served as a speaker and trainer at different venues, including ATA and CHIA conferences.
