Source text - Spanish Con la elaboración del presente Plan para proyección de resultados de las empresas de síntesis pretendemos mostrar la evolución de la misma para el trienio comprendido entre 2009 y 2011. Para plasmar esta evolución, se ha realizado una proyección de los estados financieros (Balance de situación, Cuenta de pérdidas y ganancias y Estado de flujos de tesorería), con los cuales se mostrará el grado de viabilidad económico-financiero-patrimonial de la empresa.
El Plan Estratégico se compone de los siguientes apartados:
• Resumen ejecutivo
• Evolución económica de la empresa.
• Evolución financiera de la empresa.
• Anexo I: Proyecciones financieras.
• Anexo II: Método de simulación.
• Anexo III: Hipótesis utilizadas
Comentamos de forma resumida, cada uno de los principales apartados:
1. Evolución económica de la empresa
En este apartado se realizan, bajo ciertas hipótesis de comportamiento, una proyección de las principales variables económicas de la empresa. EL punto de partida son los datos consolidados del año 2008 y los rangos de proyección conocidos en 2009 y 2010, habiendo establecido unos márgenes máximo y mínimo de variación que se explican más adelante.
2. Evolución financiera de la empresa
Debido a la actual situación de crisis en la que nos encontramos inmersos (cuyo principal efecto ha sido la restricción de acceso a la financiación tanto a empresas como a particulares) a la hora de realizar el Plan Estratégico se ha hecho especial hincapié en la evolución financiera de la empresa. Por medio de este análisis veremos cuál sea la capacidad de la empresa para mantener su solvencia y analizaremos si cuenta con un adecuado nivel de Recursos Propios (capitalización) con los cuales poder responder ante los peores escenarios imaginables.
3. Anexo I : Proyecciones financieras.
En este apartado, se muestran los estados financieros (Balance de situación, cuenta de pérdidas y ganancias y estado de flujos de tesorería) del escenario más probable.
4. Anexo II : Método de simulación .
En este apartado, se explicarán la técnica de simulación utilizada (Simulación de Monte Carlo). Y para la concreta proyección realizada se han compuesto 10.000 posibles escenarios, de tal forma que se podrá analizar el comportamiento de cada variable en función del comportamiento del resto. Esto nos permitiría calcular la probabilidad de alcanzar los objetivos estratégico-económicos marcados, como por ejemplo, la probabilidad de alcanzar un cierto nivel de beneficio de explotación, de rentabilidad financiera, etc…
5. Anexo III : Hipótesis utilizadas
En este apartado, se comentarán las hipótesis de partida, que han sido utilizadas para la realización de las proyecciones reflejadas en los datos del apartado 1.
Una vez enumerados los apartados de los que se compone el Plan Estratégico, pasaremos a comentar las principales conclusiones a las que se han llegado, recogidas en el:

Resumen Ejecutivo
Tipo de Análisis realizado
Cabe comentar, que a la hora de realizar cualquier proyección, se depende en gran medida de la correcta estimación de los valores futuros. Siendo conscientes de que cualquier estimación siempre conlleva un riesgo asociado, es decir, una probabilidad de que el futuro no sea como se había previsto, al elaborar las proyecciones de los modelos de la empresa, se ha utilizado una técnica denominada Simulación de Monte Carlo. Por medio de esta técnica, a la hora de estimar la futura evolución de la empresa, no se ha tenido en cuenta un único escenario futuro posible, el cual comprendiese unos únicas ventas previstas, flujos de caja, evolución de gastos, de beneficio, etc… si no que se han calculado 10000 futuros escenarios posibles, en cada uno de los cuales las variables explicativas como por ejemplo el nivel de ventas, nivel de precios, evolución de gastos, etc…, han tomado distintos valores de entre un posible rango previamente estimado. La definición tanto de las variables explicativas como de sus posibles valores viene recogida en los distintos anexos.
Todas las conclusiones deberán de interpretarse con extrema prudencia, primero, porque parten de las hipótesis introducidas de un futurible, y segundo, porque debe de tenerse muy en cuenta la diferencia entre los conceptos posibilidad, probabilidad, certeza y contingencia.

En la síntesis de las dos siguientes tablas aparecen los valores obtenidos para las principales variables estratégicas. En esta primera tabla, mostramos los valores de los indicadores financieros patrimoniales.

Translation - English With the elaboration of this plan destined for the projection of results of the Enterprises, we intend to showcase its development for the training which took place between 2009 and 2011. To translate this development, a projection of the financial status has been made (balance of the situation Account of loss and profits and Status of the treasury flow), with which the degree of economical-financial-patrimonial viability will be shown.
The Strategic Plan is made out of the following components,

Below, we expand on each component:
1. Economical Evolution of the Enterprise
In this component, it is performed, under certain behaviour hypothesis a projection of the main economical variables of the Enterprise. The starting point are the information consolidated in the year 2008, and the ranges of projection known in 2009 and 2010, having established the maximum and minimum margins of variation, which will be further explained later on.
2. Financial Evolution of the Enterprise
Due to the current financial crisis, in which we find ourselves today (which main effect has been the restrictive financial access to both, companies and individuals) on developing the Strategic Plan we emphasized on the financial evolution of the enterprise. Through this analysis we’ll see which will be the capacity of the enterprise to maintain its solvency and we’ll analyse if it has an adequate level of own resources (capitalization) with which will be used to answer to the worst scenarios imaginable.
3. Annex I: Financial Projections.
In this component, the financial status are showcased, (balance of the situation Account of loss and profits and Status of the treasury flow) of the most likely scenario.
4. Annex II: Simulation Method.
In this component, the applied simulation technique is explained (Monte Carlo Simulation). And for a concrete projection there has been formulated 10.000 possible scenarios, therefore we’ll be able to analyse the behaviour of each variable against one another. This will allow us to calculate the probability to reach the strategic-economical targets set, for example, the probability to reach a certain beneficiary level of exploitation, of financial accountability, etc…
5. Annex III : Applied Hypothesis
In this component, the hypothesis that have used to the realization of the projections reflected against the component 1 will be explained.

Executive Summary
Type of Analysis Performed
It’s worth mentioning that, any projection depends on the right accuracy for estimation of future values. Being aware that any estimation always carries an associated valued risk, that is to say, a probability that the future may not be as initially thought through out when stipulating the projections for the Enterprise. In this occasion we have devised the Monte Carlo Simulation. Through this technique, at the time of estimating the future evaluation of the enterprise, there was only one missing possible future scenario, one which compromises of presold items provided, money flow, costs evolution, benefits, etc…but 10000 future scenarios have been calculated, and in each one of them the variables such as, the level of sales, level of prices, costs evolution, etc..., have been taken different values from within a possible range previously estimated. The definition of the variables as well of their values will be explained in the following annexes.
All the conclusions have to be interpreted with extreme caution, firstly because all hypothesis are taking in consideration a possible future, and secondly because, all of the following should also be considered; the difference between the concepts of possibility probability, certainty and contingency.
