Bio

I am a self-employed professional specializing in video game localization, audio visual translation and linguistic QA.

For 5 years, I've been an audiovisual and game translator. Among my projects were a few Netflix TV shows, films of different genres, documentaries, and TV programmes. I've created and translated subtitles, translated TV shows for voice over, and cartoons for dubbing. I've created SDH subtitles and audio description for Russian films.

As for the games, there are various genres too - racing, military, post-apocalyptic, fantasy, MOBA, MMORPG, battle royale to name a few. The NDAs are strict, and I can only mention Just Dance 2020.

Since 2020, I have been providing LQA services. I worked as an LQA specialist on a streaming platform, verified data for i18n, l10n, and linguistic issues (typos, mistranslations, grammar issues). I've been working in such tools as CrowdIn, Confluence, Jira, Alite.

Since 2020, I am a member of the Eurasian Subtitlers’ League and the project "The Language Professional's Code of Ethics".
