In both reviews the authors also state that the clinical trials are too few, with different drug formulations, and different pain models not allowing definite conclusions.

Source text - English Heart disease is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality for women in developed countries. A history of hypertension in pregnancy presents a group of women at a higher risk of future cardiovascular disease compared with the general female population, and yet the management and monitoring of these women for cardiovascular disease is often overlooked. This study is unique as it provided results from linked population data (n=31 656) and also results from individually reviewed medical records (n=1158) to ensure accuracy of the diagnosis and blood pressure values. The study demonstrated that women with de novo hypertension in pregnancy are at greater risk of future cardiovascular disease compared with women who remained normotensive in their pregnancy, irrelevant of the duration of the disease or the use of antihypertensives in the pregnancy. A history of de novo hypertension in pregnancy identifies a group of women at an increased risk of cardiovascular disease before the onset of other traditional risk factors. As such, these women should be targeted to be provided with education about modification of lifestyle behaviors and early intervention to help reduce their risk of future adverse health outcomes.

Source text - English When asked about obstacles to accessing the records, she explained that the system is simply not everyone’s “thing.” She said, “Working in the records may be something that some people are curious about, but for whom nothing clicks. When that happens, it may be perfect valid that there is another path or modality that will resonate with that person. I see this when I’m doing short intro sessions. Personal curiosity satisfied, they move on to something else.”
She added that another roadblock is disbelief, explaining that some are up against preconceptions or distrust their own experience. Regardless, Ritter believes no one is forbidden from the records. “It’s just not my experience, as a reader or a teacher,” she said, adding that some shy away from the records due to anxiety. “It is up to the individual to decide whether to continue. In my case the anxiety indicated that internal issues were being stirred up. I was able to get support from both the Records and others to do some inner work.”
