FIELDS OF SPECIALISATION
Medical and cosmetic (scientific articles, abstracts, leaflets, marketing authorisation documents, medical records, clinical trials, etc.); legal, economic and financial (deeds of incorporation, articles of association, minutes of meetings, agreements, legal opinions, powers of attorney, apostilles, personal identification documents, certificates, judicial documents, notarial deeds, investment fund prospectuses, financial statements, tax documents etc.); cooking; music (liner notes, reviews, press releases).
My first approach to languages was at the age of 6, when I began taking private English lessons. This then turned into a vocation, after obtaining a diploma from the Higher School for Interpreters and Translators in Rome, where I found the missing piece: the Russian language.
During my 32-year career as a free-lance translator, I have specialized in legal, financial and medical translations, with the more enjoyable and challenging niche of musical reviews, and developed good communication, organizational, relational and teamwork skills due to my being a member of two professional partnerships.
Of particular note is that I have been a certified translator for the Civil Court of Rome since 1990.
My interests and hobbies are: cooking (I attended several cooking and pastry-making classes in a variety of specialised domains), films, music, travelling.
