I am a native Italian speaker specialising in English to Italian translations as well as proofreading and comprehensive full-service Italian editing and proofreading. I offer clients highly specialised translation expertise for both the insurance and financial fields.

As my client, you benefit from my 20+ years as an in-house translator for three major European insurance brokers, all of which were owned by large international banking institutions such as Gruppo Banca Intesa San Paolo. As expected, the financial owners were the primary clients for their respective insurance subsidiaries and translation work required solid knowledge of far more than the jargon for both venues.

I hold a specialized Quality Assurance (ISO:9001)certificate, a Quality Assurance Manager certificate and a Quality Assurance Auditor (Certified Quality Auditor) certificate. All certifications are current.

I am very computer literate – both literally and figuratively! In 1992 I was one of the first in Italy to own a home PC. I assembled it myself from scratch and because of this, understand the internal workings as well as the functionalities and, as early as 1997, I discovered the joys of the World Wide Web.

As a freelance translator, I have translated, proofed and edited documents for multiple business genres including scientific and medical documents, legal documents, business proposals, websites, user manuals including software and games manuals, interviews, academic theses, marketing materials, children’s books, Amazon and eBay product sales and promotions and my personal addiction – games for play stations, phone apps, online and PCs.
