Le marché européen de l’énergie est confronté à de nombreux défis, liés au vieillissement des infrastructures, ainsi qu’aux défis des objectifs environnementaux et de la transition énergétique. Ces objectifs nécessitent une évolution significative vers une plus grande part d’énergies renouvelables, soutenue par un réseau amélioré, capable de distribuer l’énergie et d’assurer la sécurité d’approvisionnement. L’objectif de XXX est de participer à ces transformations, en améliorant les capacités des réseaux français et britanniques à distribuer l’électricité aux consommateurs, et à assurer la sécurité d’approvisionnement en cas d’insécurité de production, liées aux sources renouvelables ou non.
Translation - English PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The European energy market faces many challenges linked to aging infrastructure, as well as the challenges of environmental targets and energy transition. These objectives require a significant shift towards a greater share of renewable energy, supported by an improved network, capable of distributing energy and ensuring the security of supply. XXX's objective is be a part of these transformations by improving the capacity of the French and British networks to distribute electricity to consumers and to ensure that in the event of production uncertainty, whether linked to renewable sources or not, supply is secure.

Translation - English I let the bundle flutter to the floor and turned my back on xxx, who looked desperately to xx for help. XX was my enforcer and my lover, with whom xxx had been slumming it in illegal bars during prohibition. My banker on 140th Street picked up the money, sheepishly, and practically tiptoed away. He too was afraid of the elevator because I didn't hear its characteristic squeal.

Elle a occupé depuis plus de 30 ans des rôles de leadership au sein d'organisations Internationales, telles que la Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD), le PNUD et l'USAID, axées sur les programmes d'infrastructure et d’énergie.
Les infrastructures constituent la principale priorité de l’Afrique. La solution passe-t-elle par plus d’intégration régionale ?
Il est connu de tout le monde que les infrastructures jouent un rôle déterminant dans le développement économique d’un pays et la lutte contre la pauvreté. Le déficit en infrastructures observé en Afrique est reconnu comme étant à l’origine du manque de compétitivité par rapport au reste du monde.
Répondre à la demande croissante en infrastructure exige une approche régionale coordonnée. En effet, suite à la géographie économique de l’Afrique, l’intégration régionale est la meilleure, si pas la seule, voie à suivre pour réaliser le potentiel de croissance de l’Afrique et participer la mondialisation.

We all know that infrastructure plays a decisive role in the economic development of a country and the fight against poverty. Africa’s infrastructure deficit is recognized as the cause of the lack of competitiveness compared to the rest of the world. Meeting the growing demand for infrastructure requires a coordinated regional approach. Indeed, due to Africa’s economic geography, regional integration is the best, if not the only, way forward to realize Africa's growth potential and participate in globalization.
