PERSONAL STATEMENT

'Professional, personable and efficient' is how my service delivery has been described by past and present clients.

Although no specific qualification is required in Brazil due to my level of experience, in the UK I have a Diploma in Public Services Interpreting, specialized in Law. This has allowed me to expand my practice into interpreting for Her Majesty's Court and Tribunals Service in the UK and its dominions, for which I receive praise from judges, barristers and solicitors.

Although born in the UK I have spent long periods in both Brazil and Portugal. I am educated to Masters Degree level in both languages. Although I have in the past split my time between federal intellectual property projects and translating in Brazil, I am now engaged on a full time basis servicing current client requirements in translation areas only, in the UK.

In addition to translating and reviewing written work of all types (including scientific and medical categories), I also have a high level of simultaneous voice translation experience. As a consequence, should the need arise, I am willing and able to assist at international conferences around the world.

I am proud to have received feedback amounting to 100% client satisfaction across all my work areas and can obtain references for confirmation purposes should this be required. I am currently retained on NHS, HM Courts and Tribunal contracts to assist persons from a wide demography, as and when the need arises. I am also instructed by various interpreting and translation agencies in the UK and Brazil.
