I'm working as a freelance translator since 1999, starting from my studying in Lomonosov Moscow State University (always used the opportunity to take additional class on translating). My main speciality is journalism, so my skills of writing, editing and proofreading in mother tongue (Russian) are more than profficient.

Undoubtedly, I have vast background knowledge of Russian culture but also got "some clue" about multi-faceted culture of Brittania as I used to take language courses (while student), and then live and work there as a Highly Skilled Migrant several years later. I was based in London but trevelled all over the island. Therefore, I may assume that I have strong linguistic abilities to write, edit and proofread.

I have a proven work experience in other areas apart from translating - project management, co-ordinating activity, budget management, media planning, sales, buying and marketing - B2B as well as B2C. Previously - pr-management, copywriting, promoting. I strongly believe that all my previous work and experience can be fully used in my career as a professional translator.
All my life connected with horses and horse riding, I am very interested in this topic and you will get a very good deal if your subject is somehow connected with horses.

I am motivated in both acdemic and professional work. I am rigorous, organised, and above all I enjoy English languge and on my way to a beautiful world of Spanish language after several months of travelling through Spain.
