Spanish to English: "To be in lockdown" is not home office General field: Other Detailed field: Human Resources
Y nosotros... ¡tampoco!
Translation - English "To be in lockdown" is not home office
Many of the people I know and work with have dreamt of the panacea of home office for ages. You do not waste your time commuting or controlling the agenda. You are closer to the little ones. They were plenty of ideas that belonged to a greater illusion: to have a healthier everyday lifestyle.
There we were when the pandemic hit us. We had no choice but to stay at home. In fact, it was not even a choice: it was an obligation, a duty filled with anguish and concern. Locking ourselves at home has nothing to do with home office. It is a completely different reality. Our households were not prepared to be coworking or educational sites, or to fulfill any other need we have to cover these days. They weren't designed to be occupied 24/7 either. With no escape. And we weren't designed to be there all the time, either!

Independent Translator, Corporate Bilingual Content Transcreator and Interpreter
I am an English <--> Spanish Sworn Translator. I graduated in 1994, and before devoting to this wonderful profession I got my Business Administration Master’s Degree and started a career in the Marketing and Business Department of a very important company. I headed several Marketing Departments and started an independent career on Business Consultancy when my kid was born, to have more time for my family.
After a few years, I studied Simultaneous Interpretation and re-connected with the world of languages. I met many rewarding colleagues and friends on this professional development path.
I specialize in Bilingual Content Translation and Transcreation, Corporate Communication, Marketing Strategies, and I am also skilled and experienced to translate documents related to Oil & Gas, Business & Finance, Automotive, Retail, Sports and Apparel.
